The names on the jerseys that flooded the North Shore Sunday said it all: Big Ben, Bettis and Bon Jovi.

Heinz Field came alive for what should be the last big celebration of the Steelers' Super Bowl win, paired with an evening concert by popular rock band Bon Jovi.

"My wife loves Bon Jovi, and I'm a big Steelers fan, so we drove in from Baltimore," said Keith Badorrek, who moved to Maryland from Turtle Creek 15 years ago.

More than 40,000 fans converged on the North Shore, where the day felt much like a football Sunday. Tailgaters claimed their spots and lit charcoal early in the afternoon, sending the familiar aroma of burgers and brats across the parking lots.

Inside Heinz Field, fans cheered and waived Terrible Towels during the Super Bowl celebration, which was highlighted by the appearance of several Steelers, including game MVP Hines Ward. The Steelers beat the Seattle Seahawks in Super Bowl XL, played in February in Detroit.

"Hey, tonight's a party," Ward told the crowd. "We've got Bon Jovi in the house. This party's for you tonight."

Bon Jovi opened with a song whose title fit the occasion, "Last Man Standing," from the band's latest album. The group then jumped into an old favorite, "You Give Love a Bad Name."

Earlier, fans had a chance to get players' autographs and listen to other live music, including Canadian rock band Nickelback.

Ambulances were called to the stadium, but authorities reported no serious incidents.

The event was John Moroney's chance to celebrate the Steelers' victory, especially since he was just 2 when the team last won a championship in 1980. The Brookline fan said he wouldn't have missed the opportunity.

The Steeler celebration concert was awesome! My husband went to see the Steelers and I went to see Bon Jovi. He puts on a better show then he did 20 years ago. They are a classic! I have to say that Nickleback sounded good when they were singing, but everytime Chad Kroeger opened his mouth, it didnt sound very good for all the kids that were in attendance. We didnt need to hear all the foul language from him in between songs. It was wonderful for a great city like Pittsburgh to win a championship. They deserved it.
