I didn't expect him to sound like he used to and I was more than right. Still, I am so glad I went! He played Like a Rolling Stone (my all-time favorite), Blowin' in the Wind, Hiway 61, Hard Rain Gonna Fall, Don't Think Twice,and Times, They are a-changin', just to name the old ones. You had to listen very carefully- sort of like playing Name that Tune to guess the song that you were listening to. The tune and tempo had moved to new levels.
My feeling about the concert is that you shouldn't go expecting anything, but enjoy the experience because you won't get an experience like this again. | |
