I remember in 1987, Bryan Adams opened for Journey on their "Frontiers" tour. He was great then and he still can rock today. His voice still has that raspy, soulful sound and he is still strumming the same guitar.
This year, Bryan is opening for Foreigner. Thanks to the fact that radio stations still have Bryan's tunes in rotation, he sounds fresh and energetic as ever. While mixing in some of his newest material, Bryan knows why people came to see him (or expect of him) and he delivers. From "Cuts Like A Knife" and "Summer of '69" to "Heaven", Bryan Adams makes it through 85% of his collection of hits; sadly he did not play my favorite "One Night Love Affair" (my favorite!).
I definitely recommend this show if you want to take a walk down memory lane, and who wouldn't? "Those were the best days of my life!" | |
