The opening show for Bobby and Ratdog was worth the wait. The band started off the show with a 10 minute space jam (similar to all the openers from Fall tour) and then rolled into Truckin'. The majority of the Bobby or "vintage" Dead tunes were well played. For some reason, Bobby feels the need to play Jerry tunes, and should let these rest. Bobby has soo much material, that he does not need to play Jerry Tunes (or as many of them).

Tunes like Loose Lucy, Althea, Standing on the Moon are not ones that Bobby can really Nail, and should be replaced with stuff he has a long history with, and can play the daylights out of.

The strongest tunes of the night were an Acoustic Dark Hollow> Me and My Uncle, Corrina, Throwin' Stones>Not Fade Away, and the Encore: Goin' Down the Road. Some of the newer Bobby tunes like Momma Said and another I can't recall the name of were so bad, they should have never made the setlist. With gems like Estimated, St of Circumstance, other one, Playin, Easy Answers, it's a shame Bobby doesnt stick to what got him there.
