| Concert Rating for this Show | | 4.1667 out of 5.0000 | | User Comments and Reviews for this Show | I waited 30 years to see Rush live and wasn't disappointed--truly one of the best, if not the best, concerts I've seen. My son -- 17 -- who stumbled on to Rush about 4 years ago after picking up one of my CDs, didn't have to wait as long and also thought the concert was tops. I don't know if it is because I'm biased since they are my favorite group but it was an experience I will never forget. Cheers to Neil, Geddy, and Alex for staying together and continuing to put out the high quality music we all want to hear.

It was a really nice show. I've seen every tour since Power Windows and it's great to see how the guys are still smiling and laughing during the shows. I know that they love the new album, but it would have been nice to have only played 4 or 5 new songs and opened up some room for some of the older stuff... LaVilla with Alex's rant was missed. And I hate to actually complain about something, but we had pretty decent seats about 2/3 of the way back off center to the right and there were several songs that I couldn't hear Geddy's bass, but the keyboards would roar over everything. I only mention that because I never had any such complaints when tickets cost half of what I pay for them now and it's not like they are hurting for quality equipment or $$$ to hire qualified sound guys... That aside, it was my 9 yr old son's first Rush concert and he LOVED it. My daughter got to go to the 2007 Atlanta show and she did too.
It would'a been cool if Geddy had thrown out some chicken during the encore. OH! one last thing. I Love that Rush doesn't make you stand out there yelling and screaming for 5 minutes before they come back to play the encore, they walked off, grabbed some water and came back to play, that was nice, we're not teenages anymore (most of us at the show at least) and the respect of the band was noticed.
