Once again, Taylor Hicks and the Taylor Hicks Band kicked it BIG TIME! Fabulous concert, with the best jazzy spin on songs this tour. Taylor's passion, energy, and outstanding vocals brought an exceptional performance to Concord. An excellent concert for the fans in NH! You lucky people even had 2 encores plus and some new music was introduced. The tour is winding down -- try to catch a performance if you can before its too late.

It just doesn't get any better than this. Taylor surpasses all expectations. Rock on SoulMan!

The concert was great. From what I was told by the promoter he was a-lot more into it tonight than he was in Portland.

I have to say that he was 100 times better than when I saw him in Hampton Beach in the spring.

He was wearing a black Stax t-shirt and a pair of jeans. I couldn't see the shoes because the speakers were in my line of sight all night.

You know I said to myself that I was going to remember many of these incidents only to wake up this morning in a fog.

The laughing in the middle of the song was his mic started falling and I think he sung something like and "it's your fault" looking over at one of the stage hands.

I knew about the oncore and had heard him practicing it during the sound check. Man if you thought it sounded good over the phone you should have seen it in person! His facial expressions are what really made that song. It made the "notes" he couldn't hit all that much better. What a beautiful song he gave us!

The crowd was really into the show. I couldn't look back but I was told it was almost a full house. I had to stand to the side until the line at the door cleared so I was able to see most of the people going in.

It was very mixed. Lots of couples and of all ages. We were talking with a young couple (well young to me) of 27 years old and they love Taylor. Said they couldn't stand the music of today and both thought that in 10 years Taylor will be the most sought after artist out there.

I saw a few kids. Kristan (the promoter) brought her kids and a friend. They were dancing and having a great time. At the end of the show they got the drumsticks which really made their night.

All in all I think that if there were any "new" fans at the concert last night they are now hooked!
AWESOME concert, awesome friends to dance and enjoy it with, and our soul man was gorgeous in a coal blue shirt and blue jeans, and was the best onstage I've seen yet. Security saw my camera and told me they would confiscate it if I even took it out of my purse...:( So no media from me, but I think a few of the gals did get a little, so maybe they will surface. He danced, wiggled, and jumped his way across the stage the entire night and the audience, young and old, LOVED HIM! Only one encore, Long Way Home, but he was amazing all night and quite playful :)

I did get to spend a little time with our SoulMan before the show, and he asked me to carry this message to the sites:

"Please tell all the sites and fans THANKS for all the support and that once the tour is over, I'll be around a little more on HQ." I am not sure exactly what that means...lol...maybe more frequent blogs, but whatever it means, it's GOOD news and means he does read us and does hear us. He couldn't have been warmer and more gracious, both on an offstage, and I am soooo very glad I went to this concert!
