I was dragged to the concert by my girlfriend who is a huge fan of Josh Groban. I am an avid fan of Rock and metal I do not at all consider myself as a fan of Josh Groban. I did however, find the show quite impressive. The shear size of his band was amazing. A 7 piece band including 2 drum sets! and a 12 or so piece orchestra! The sound quality was very good despite being in the acoustical unfriendly Saddledome. Josh's voice is actually quite amazing and somewhat hipnotizing. The talent of the musicians involved was what cought my attention immediately. World class without a doubt. The most impressive thing was whn Josh switched over to a keyboard during one of the encores and belted out a stunning rock solo. He then proceeded to purch himself behind a drumset and blow everyone away with a lightning speed drum arrangement played in tandem with the other drummer! I will never buy one of his albums, but I would see his concert again anytime!
Just did not like this concert period. Too loud and while the guy can sing, some of the music was weird and some boring.

The ticket price was high, the place was set for a Josh Groban concert and some rock guy showed up and laced it with African music. What a strange night. He did sing February Song and a dash of his famous songs....the ones that made these ticket prices go through the roof of the Saddledome. I was kinda disappointed in the concert though Josh has a beautiful voice just liked some of his older stuff and not the Italian as much. I do agree the volume was intense and my ears hurt but we had good seats. Enough with these woman and girls giving him toys and stuffed animals, we are here to see a concert not Toys R US. There are a large group of large woman that follow this guy around we met a few of them that have been to 25 concerts...at these prices that is amazing! Even to Europe! Imagine, being 45 years old, over 300 pounds and in love with Josh Groban so much that you would follow his concerts from sity to city eating yourself to death.
