Taylor continues to change it up for every show! Adding two new songs to this show had the crowd cheering! He's amazing.
Awesome performance!High energy and soooo cool!
Taylor is still hot, for all you soul patrol fans!
I don't care what's being said about him not selling as many records as previous or other Idol winners.....he is a true talent and knows his own style. I was a bit disappointed he didn't sing "Do I make you proud", but he more than made up for it with his current tunes, which are true Taylor.I admire the fact that he is true to himself, he's a pro! He rocked the house in Grand Prairie! I urge everyone to go see him perform if you have the opportunity. It was definitely worth it and I'll go see him again given the chance!

He blew the roof off the venue. Lots of soul, blues, and originals....and a kick ass band to boot.
What can I say ~ Taylor Hicks is AMAZING, every time I see him!!!
Taylor Hicks = Entertainer of the Year! The last time I enjoyed a concert so much, my ticket cost over $200.00! If you get the chance, see Taylor now while he's still playing at medium sized venues. His band is awesome and you'd swear they'd been with Taylor for years. You can "feel" the chemistry between them. I can't wait to see another Taylor Hicks show!
Okay - I swore I would not got to Dallas but it was the closest venue to me. MAN AM I GLAD I DID! The vocals this dude threw down were amazing, and the band rocks! The band has so much chemistry with Hicks. He has total command of the band and the sets. Once you see him you go away wanting more. Now I see why people say this guy is addictive!
Best concert evah! Kudos, Taylor! Critics will become fans if they see one of your shows. Hicks is dynamite - Lit dynamite!      posted by sebby on www.concertfan.com
The best of his concerts I've been to so far. If you don't go to one of his concerts, you are really missing out on the true Taylor. The band is awesome and Taylor just rocks. Run Baby Run was just the best ever.
media review: "Blue-eyed soul singer Taylor Hicks earned a reputation as an enthusiastic, energetic performer on his run that led to last season's American Idol win.

Sunday's concert at the Nokia Theatre cemented that image.

A leaner Hicks, looking suave in nicely fitting jeans, a black button-up and a slim cut black blazer, boogied, jumped and twirled his way through a 1 1/2 hour set. Hicks has a great voice for the brand of soul he sings, and he's at his best when belting out ad-libs.

(He seemed happiest) singing songs he had a hand in penning...(and also) peppered the show with pleasantly unexpected covers. Hicks performed stellar versions of Sheryl Crow's 'Run Baby Run' and Bryan Adams 'The Right Place'. Late in the show, he did Supertramp's 'Goodbye Stranger'. The audience didn't seem to know the song. But Hicks was having so much fun, they enjoyed it anyway."
(from the Star-Telegram, by Erin White, who gave the show a B+)
This was a terrific concert, and I've seen some great ones in my past (the Eagles, Doobie Brothers, Chicago, CSN&Y, Jimmy Buffet, Paul McCartney, Elton John, etc.). What an entertainer this man is! From the minute he walked on stage, unannounced, to blow an amazing harmonica on a song with the opening act, the Greyhounds, to the final note of the encore performance, Taylor was on fire. As the lead singer for the Greyhounds said, "This guy's the real deal!"
Tayor really blew the roof off of this place. He is an amazing entertainer and his band is tight!!! Lead guitarist is beyond great! Taylor should really release a live CD or DVD! If you haven't seen him live yet, make sure you do!!! I for one, hope he comes to Texas again soon. He sang "Run Baby Run" and I've never heard anything hotter! I've heard he fans are all "old" women. I saw lots of mid 20 men and women, kids, and teens there all jamming!
This guy is a superstar.
Taylor Hicks' concert in Dallas was simply amazing!!! Those who only know the Taylor from the TV reality show will be astounded at what a great musician and entertainer he is.

From original songs to covers ~~ including taggging all sorts of older bluesy hits ~~ Taylor and his top notch band delivered and delivered.
It's surprising there was anything left of him when he finally left after the standing ovation and encore.

Find the nearest city to you and GO!
What else can be said that hasn't already been said ? This is an excellent show with a variety of songs performed for the viewer with eclectic tastes. A great combination of Soul/Blues/Soft-rock/funk/ballads and gospel tinged musc. This guy can do it all -- touch you and entertain you. It is very clear that Hicks loves his music and gives 100% back to the audience. This is a musical experience not to be missed.
Taylor Hicks blew my face off!!!
This show is a DO NOT miss!!
He is without a doubt, the most talented Idol to date. And man...the boy can put on a concert. Hey, Daughtry, why don't you go to a Hicks concert and take some notes? THAT'S how you pull off a concert and gain fans! I had never planned on going to a Taylor Hicks concert and was taken to one by a friend. I thought Daughtry deserved to win last season and went to one of his concerts...and then Taylor's. Man, when I'm wrong, I'm wrong.
Birmingham was fabulous! Still have a smile on my face. Love dancing
to his C.D. I have played it so much..know most of the words. Would
love for him and his band to come back to our home town. Everyone was
so cordial and courteous at the concert. I was so happy when he added
the additional date and I finally got a ticket. Everyone should go to
every concert they can.

This was my first show for the tour and I knew I wouldn't be disappointed. I tell everone that until they've seen Taylor live, they haven't seen Taylor Hicks!! Run Baby, Run - holy cow!! Taylor definitely needs to release this song - hot, hot, hot. If I could change one thing? That the audience would have stood up and danced more - I wouldn't change a thing about Taylor, his band, his music, his performance, or the show itself; absolute perfection. The man puts on a show that truly should NOT be missed!! If you aren't a Taylor Hicks fan, go see him live - YOU WILL BE!! He really is THAT great.
He was very rude to us.
Cool
Brian on sax played with Prince for several years. Great soul band! Everyone gets a star turn at some point and every one of them is a star. There's some awesome musical talent on that stage. To Taylor and all the band- we hope you know how much we appreciate your music!
Nokia theatre is a great theatre - good accoustics. Taylor's voice and dancing were just primo. All the nuances that I really like about Taylor were out in force. He even whistled in one song. His band is awsome, and seem to be able to be directed by Taylor with just a small gesture.

I hope you see him live.
for a gay guy he was ok
FANTASTIC
I love the way he belts out a song, the whiskey-tenor quality to his voice and how he commands the stage.
Anyone that can get the chance to see Taylor in concert, GO, you will have the ride of a lifetime! He is incredible, his stage presence with that soulful strong voice along with an unbelievable band makes this the best concert I have ever attended. Awesome Concert!
