I saw Josh Groban perform in Boston on March 2, 2007 and he was awesome!!!
Horrible and not up to his normal standard but neither is Awake. He should have called it Asleep!
Get Josh Groban stuff here
His album and this concert were boring...sorry Josh you are better than that. You need to sing more contemporary songs and maybe stick to English so your fans know what you are saying. We just have come to expect more from our Josh. Stick to your old stuff that is why we pay to hear you live.
BORING Josh just BORING we expected more!
I love Josh Groban but did not love this concert
Have seen him in concert several times and this was not his best!
Not his best performance. Calling David Foster.....HELP!!!!
I did not like Awake. I did not like this concert either! Some parts were okay but I got to agree that it was a tad dull.
Unless you are playing in Sun City, enough of this South African music. Next you will be adopting a kid!
I am a huge Grobanite and have seen him live many times. I was disappointed in this performance though as I was in his album Awake. Stick with what you are best at and don't mess with something that is fantastic. Don' try and reinvent something that is already wonderful. You lost me on this one Josh! Got to say I was really disapointed
Is it over yet? I fell asleep!
Not up to the standards he has set in the past. It was not his best concert.
Not your best work Josh!
Josh was beyond dull! This was dull and strange.
Bean town obviously did not like Josh's latest endeavor. Should stick to what he does best and it is not this Awake music. Like taking a concert piano and playing rap...just did not work right.
Save your money and skip this concert in other cities.
Dear Josh Groban, I want a refund. I did not like your concert and I will not waste my time or money to hear you again. You are depressing! I wanted to be entertained and I caught your depression.
What happened to this incredible kid with the fabulous voice? He went to Africa and came back as Paul Simon! Please keep him away from India!
Next time Mr. Groban, sing the songs that made you famous and stop trying to think that you can write songs. You cannot!
It was sad and I agree that he was depressing
It was alright! Not bad not great just ok
Saw him twice in Vegas months apart and it was the identical show but it was a great show that featured the music that made Josh a household word. I would not want to see this concert again for free. Hardly what I expected from this prodigy of music.
It was ok
I can see by all the negative reviews that some of these people really don't like to see growth. His concert was wonderful, great voice, great entertainer. His music is romantic not depressing, if you thought it was depressing you need to get a life. He's talented, writes his own music, plays piano, drums etc. At least he's better than most of the screechers out there.
Oh my growth? If this is growth then he needs to stop growing cause it is causing growing pains! An artist like him needs to stick with what works for him not experiment on my concert monies. I did not pay to see Groban turn into something he is not. He certainly was a tad depressing and his music is as well. Back to the basics Groban.
If it aint broke dont fix it! You were not at your best
A lot of really bad reviews here. I went to the concert and it was all right. Not great but he can sing. I agree that he should stick to what he is known for though. I would not recommend this concert though to people that are expecting one thing and get another. This kids can sing but writing music is not his forte.
Romantic? What concert were you at. Josh himself admits to being depressed and it shows in his recent music and in this concert. He was better at the Greek. No, he was amazing at the Greek. He was fantastic at the MGM in Vegas, and he was just ok in Boston!
The opening was terrible. Some of the music he did write and I tend to agree that he should stick to what he is best at. Sing the songs we love not make political statements with that fantastic voice. Barbra called Josh!
I did not pay hundreds of dollars to experience Groban's growth. Stick with what works and this did not.
Your album Awake was not your best nor was this night in concert.
BORING DULL AND DEPRESSING AND SAD TO SEE SUCH A TALENT FALL SHORT
An artists personal and professional growth should not be at my expense. This was not that great performer I heard a couple of years ago. Leave the political message to the album liner please. Could you please provide translations to some of your more ethnic songs in foreign languages? that might help us understand what the song is about.
Wish I had stayed home Friday night and played Closer. This did not work for me at all Mr. Groban should stick to what he is best at, singing material David Foster picks for him. Leave Herbie home!
Nope it did not work for me!
Your recent music all sounds the same to me. This concert was not your best
it was ok but i was glad when it was over sort of like raindance...got boring
His music is depressing I am sorry to say
Josh bashing in Beantown! We just expected more that is all. He is capable of it and should stick to the genre we love.
What a waste of money (mine) and talent (Josh).Depressing, hated the African idea, left before it was over. Loved, loved loved the old Josh.
Saw Josh last night in Providence. He was awesome. He interacted with the audience and is much more comfortable performing than on the Closer Tour. His voice was absolutely wonderful and the music uplifting. Surprisingly, about half of the 10,000 there were men and they seemed to enjoy Josh and his music as much as the women. It was the best concert I have ever seen, and I've been to dozens!
confused with these comments....saw the concert and it was fabulous(Boston & Providence)....Josh has a beautiful, clear, clean voice and it was better than listening to the CD! Enjoy the music~that's what he's there for!!
Josh was awesome. What a performer, what a voice, what a talent! He really mixed it up with African music, a broadway tune, classical songs, and the beautiful You Raise Me Up. Josh's interaction with the audience was wonderful. Incredible show!!!
Gastly....his music sucks!
Really disappointed in this guy. He can sing yes but his music has become strange and weird. This is a white guy right? What is with this African crap? This concert was a waste of time and money! I was a guy in the audience and I thought it was just terrible.
This was not a fun night. He is sad and depressing period. I want to be uplifted, inspired and captivated. We left early. We were so captivated we could not stand anymore of his depression.
One of the reviewers here said that we needed to get a life because we thought this concert and his music were depressing. Yup, and that new life does not include any more Groban concert or albums. That is my new life. Groban free. Why I feel better already!
The ratings of the concert goers speaks for itself. Obviously people do not read
Oh my god you people don't know what you’re talking about!!!! What is wrong with the African music and the other stuff? I love the direction he is taking musically. I thought his early work was boring!! He's just now getting really interesting and very entertaining I saw the show in DC and was blown away it was completely awesome!!!
I saw Josh in DC and I think he is a wonderful performer. I also think the African stuff was cool. And there would be nothing wrong with Josh adopting a child from another country.
Yup he was not at his best in Beantown at all. What's with this adopting a kid? Where can I apply?
Went to the Verizon Center in DC this week to see Josh. I bought the tickets as a birthday present for my husband. At 8:00 PM an African singer came on and performed for about 30 minutes (we did not pay $200 to see her perform not even for 5 minutes nevermind the 30 minutes). It went downhill from there. After she was done singing, there was an intermission of over 30 minutes. The crowd was getting restless and stomping their feet and booing. He finally came out at around 9 PM. What the heck was he doing - resting from her 30 minute performance? There was no explanation at all as to why the concert was delayed. Once he did come on we enjoyed some of the music. His voice is great but I cannot understand Italian, Spanish, and the African language. Don't know that we'll go and see him again for fear his opening act will be a 30 minute one and he won't be out until an hour after his concert starts.
Too many negative reviews from this terrific concert. Yes it was different from the CLOSER TOUR. IT' SUPPOSED TO BE PEOPLE!!!!!!IT'S CALLED GROWTH. WHAT IS WRONG WITH YOU HE'S COMING INTO HIS OWN AS HE SHOULD.
WOULD YOU WANT TO HEAR THE SAME THING OVER AND OVER AND PAY FOR IT? I PERSONALLY WOULD NOT. THE AFRICAN ACCENT WAS GREAT AND JOSH ACTUALLY DANCED ON STAGE. THAT IS A FIRST AND YES THE MAN CAN MAKE THE MOVES!!!! HIS VOICE IS JUST GETTING BETTER AND BETTER. HE INTERACTED WITH HIS AUDIENCE AND THOSE OF US WHO COULD NOT HELP BUT CALL OUT TO HIM. NICE GOING JOSH. THE ONLY THING I MISSED WAS ZAK PROVOST. THE ONLY NEGATIVE THING I CAN SAY IS THE SHOW WAS TOO SHORT. I PERSONALLY HAVE GONE THROUGH A TOUGH 7 MOS. I START OUT EACH DAY WITH DON'T GIVE UP AND IT GIVES ME THE STRENGTH TO GET TROUGH THE DAY. YOUR ARE TRULY AN INCREDIBLE ARTIST!!!!!! LOOKING FORWARD TO THE NEXT CD AND TOUR.
DONNA FREDERICK MD
To the person who said they are a HUGE Grobanite--most of them are.
Terrible waste of my hard earned dollars. I am sorry I went to this disaster. He was far too political and have to wait over and hour to hear him? I dont think so

You were terrible groban terrible
Wicked awful
A sonic boom! He's young..rich and famous...so he has adopted a cause...South Africa. I grew tired of the politics and the concert seem very two dimensional. Josh..we expect more from you buddy! Please don't burn out before you even get really started. Your fans will tolerate one bad tour...but beyond that...you are on your own.
I so agree with the sonic boom. Josh, you got a huge strike out, now you owe us a decent tour next year. No opening act, no one other than Charlotte Church and maybe Celine. You are not a cat Josh and you do not have 9 lives, so listen to your fans, this concert was not good at all. Maybe a couple of your famous stuff. Stop this political crap!
I was disappointed. The opening act could not be over soon enough and then to have everyone wait another 30 minutes before the actual concert began was too long. Your talent is beyond words but I left feeling let down. I don't want to hear about Africa or politics at my expense. Remember, you are only as successful as your fans allow you to be.

I agree! No more little buddie!
I saw this concert in Boston. I have also read all the reviews and comments on this tour in the other cities listed here. As a performer I would be gravely concerned at the words of my fan base. If not, then be prepared for the B Class Tour by bus coming up. Next stop the Bosch belt and opening night in the Catskills then the Poconos followed by a few nights in Branson! Vegas? Maybe as filler for a star. Soon you too will be an opening act. Your opening act was ghastly. Punctuality is the practice of Kings young man and you made your audience wait far too long with no explanation or necessity unless you were in a holding pattern over Logan with your Lear Jet Mr. Important Political Figure! Leave that crap out of your concerts when people spend hundreds and hundreds of dollars to hear you do what THEY made you famous for doing! Rule One; Always give them what they want Josh baby, next rule, always leave them wanting more. You accomplished that in this half-assed concert. They wanted more alright! Not good Mr. Groban wanna be superstar. Stick with your style, you are a classic, a virtuous a not a Mandell a. You get one shot and you did some serious damage here. Serious!!!! Either that or get ready for Dinner Theater and rubber chicken!
I am torn between rating this boring or OK. I believe the opening act was 20 minutes too long, more so at 110 decibles with a heavy accent. Do you realize the "cheapest" see for us common folk was $100. We came to listen to you. I will forget the politics as a long list ahead of me have already made this quite clear; first, establish yourself like Tony Bennett or Ole Blue Eyes; then do what you do best. Your set was wonderful and tasteful, intelligent even. Give that person a raise. I believe it would have been nice to have heard a little of your personal side, born where, languages spoken, do you practice daily etc. So far, all I know is you sing, and I don't even know what different languages the songs were in. What a shame if we were in the learning mode and you failed to teach us anything. You have such a gift, a talent that most would envy. You need to focus it. The lord givith; and the lord takeith. Share yourself with us Josh, we ARE listening.
AMEN...............I think these last two have certainly summed it up entirely. Anything else would be redundant! Learn Josh. AMEN
My husband and I went to see Josh Groban last night (Wednesday March 21) at Houston's downtown Toyota Center. The show was scheduled to begin at 8 pm. From 8 to 8:30 we listened to a loud African band. We didn't pay to hear them - we paid to hear Josh Groban. From 8:30 to 9 we listened to recorded music. Wednesday night is a work night for most people - we had to get up this morning to go to work. We waited, and waited, got restless, started clapping and shouting. Finally the curtain went up a little after 9 and Josh started to sing. Unfortunately, almost every song he sang was in Italian. We don't know Italian. We live in Houston, we speak and listen to music in ENGLISH. Josh seemed very programmed. Not personal at all. Sad. He is SO talented, but obviously being mis-directed by his managers. He needs to fire his managers as soon as possible and start over with people who know what they're doing. He had a lovely orchestra behind him, but none of the music hit home with the fans. No connection. What a waste. Thousands of eager, anxious bodies sitting there in the darkness, not swaying, not clapping, not in any way inspired by Josh Groban. We (and alot of other people) left at 10 pm. We had sat and listened and patiently waited while he sang from 9 to 10 pm, and never once heard a song we knew or liked. Bummer. Never again. We paid $75 each for our seats. At least we didn't spend hundreds of dollars to sit on the floor. We would have been REALLY mad. We probably would have booed and thrown a few tomatoes at the stage before we left.
We were also at Houston's Toyata Center and agree with the previous Houstonian. I wish we had gone on-line and checked out the reviews before hand, then we would have known we could have arrived home from work, had a leisurely dinner and arrived around 9pm for the concert. As it was we left at 9:30 disappointed with the music, volumn, uncomfortable seats and the whole expensive experience.
In Dallas, certainly didn't like the African noise, loud, meaningless. Josh should stick with what has made him quasi-famous. Leave the African cause in Africa. The opening act was nothing but noise, then practically 30 minutes of nothing before Josh came on stage. All in all a BIG disappointment and almost a total waste of my $75 ticket.
I think your career is finished i know i am finished with your career. This was one of the worse concerts I have EVER been to. People were booing did you hear me BOOING!
I've been a Josh Groban fan for a long time. My husband and I went to the March 25th concert in Phoenix. I was disappointed that Josh didnt sing more of his songs from his previous albums. I realize he was promoting his new album. Just for reference sake, the sound system seems a bit too loud. I'm still a fan, but might reconsider going to another concert.
I saw Josh in Cleveland, Columbus and Chicago. The concerts were fantastic. Not sure what politics people are referring to, since I did not detect any political overtones at any of these concerts. I am guessing that they are talking about the song "Weeping", which is a song about apartheid. However, that was one song in a set of 15 or so songs. As far as Josh singing in other languages (Italian, Spanish and French) this is something that he has done at past concerts and on previous albums. Not sure why anyone would be surprised to hear him sing in a language other than English during this tour. At the concerts I was at he sang quite a number of songs in English---You Are Loved, So She Dances, In Her Eyes, Now Or Never, Awake, You Raise Me Up, Not While I'm Around, Lullaby, Weeping, Machine, February Song, Remember When It Rained, Pearls. I thinks that's pretty many in English...
I also agree with the last post. I enjoyed the concert very much and went in with high expectations from Josh and got more than I ever expected. Almost every concert I've been to..there are opening acts (whether I liked them or not was besides the point, I just wasn't surprised that there was one due to I've only been to 3 concerts where there was no opening act) Then I expected his songs to be in other languages because I have all his albums, listen to them daily and know for a fact that more than 505 of his songs are in languages other than English (I think I would've been more surprised if he DIDN'T sing any of his "ethnic" songs) I also went to the concert to hear songs from his AWAKE album because I actually have and love the album (this IS the AWAKE Tor, isn't it?) So again...I went in with high expectations and Josh exceeded all of them. Thank you for another wonderful experience, Josh... see you again soon!
Never again i feel that he lost his mind and his fan base
TERRIBLE Why would people that did not attend this Boston performance be commenting? Houston, Cleveland, Chicago,Phoenix, what the hell does that have to do with how bad he was in Boston. We frankly dont give a shit what these nuts think. groban was awful here.
Ah read the horrible reviews in other cities and you will understand. His ratings are clearly bad throughout this tour. Hope that our boy smartens up and experiments with someone elses concert dollars.
Opening act was loud, long, & lousy.
Josh Groban is a most talented & gifted artist. Los Angeles concert ticket was a Christmas gift & I excitedly awaited 3/31. Sorry, Josh, this old lady still loves your singing & you, but program was disappointing. Just rewatched your former concert on DVD --- SUPERB!!
Worth every penny!
It was not his best and I am sad.
Grobanites have been online clicking 5's to increase the pathetic rating of this sad concert. So ignore the rating marks because they are false and concentrate on the reviews which they cannot alter.
I couldn't afford the concert, and after reading these reviews, I am so glad I wasn't there. Why would he waste fans' hard earned money knowing he was not giving them what they came for? Definitely not cool.
was it really that bad?
I am sorry bro but he has some rather "HUGE" female fans. I know you may not like to hear that but when some of these fans dance, the band skips!
We will fix those also, give us a few days to fix. Thanks, admin      posted by Admin on www.concertfan.com
web administrator, this person messed up the ratings on all the other cities as well, esp New York, Dallas, Houston, San Antonio, Pheonix, San Jose. people on the Sacramento thread are also complaining about the ratings. all of these were less than 1 before this person kept clicking 5's. wanna check that out?
The first Josh concert,(Closer),we went to was awesome. This was not even close.
I would have paid what we did to see Lucia Micarelli. She was the best part. The African music was loud and obnoxious. I felt as though we had just seen a horror movie. This did not do justice to Josh's voice.
To the person who referred to Josh's "retarded fat fan base" and to "these overweight lonely women", you should be ashamed of yourself. That is just cruel and completely ignorant to generalize a group of fans. You are entitled to give your review of Josh Groban's concert, but you have absolutely no right to criticize his fans.
I saw his show in Chicago. I loved it. He's a wonderful entertainer and has the best voice I've ever heard.
The problem is though....his fans are mostly HUGE FAT LOSERS....trust me, it's true. It's kind of a bad reflection on him to have these fans that he does, thank goodness more younger fans are coming onboard cause the fan base is mostly a bunch of hideous and enormous women who don't like their husbands anymore (they even call them HOGS.."husbands of Grobanites")....some are young married girls who already don't like their husbands and fantasize about Josh and I have just coined a new word myself....GR-OBESE-ANITES...but what word would you come up with to describe a big fat woman who also has spent all her money on Josh instead of using the money for necessities like food and rent, etc.? One woman has said she and her husband are broke, but her husband doesn't know it...she has hoarded money enough to go to 3 Josh concerts....who cares if the bills get paid, etc! This is why "poor" people lose credibility and people don't want to help them. They have money, they just use it for crap and then get other people to pay their rent, groceries, meds, etc. And they don't feel bad about this at all! What a messed up world.

The Boston concert was outstanding. It's hard to believe that the poor reviews are for the same concert. The crowd loved the show - many standing ovations and extended applause. I wonder where all the reviews from those people are ...
I find the personal attacks against the "grobanites" (huge fat losers) to be incredibly immature. Your small, immature brain must not have the ability to appreciate a good show when you see it.
Saw Boston show, was interested in reading comments from other concert goers. Seems that I was at another concert since I thought he was fantastic. Having not seen him before live, wasn't sure what to expect. What an amazing voice, it's difficult to believe that he still sang with power after singing full voice for almost two hours. As to opening act folks, get over it. Christina Aguliera didn't come on stage in boston for a 7:30 start time till 9:00 and sang for less than 90 minutes. All artists have opening acts for the most part, and 1 hour before getting on stage is no big deal. As to issues with understanding what he sang, what's the deal? It sounds like everyone owned his other albums, listen and figure it out. Do I like his current music, maybe not as much as some other selections, but the kid is 26, he's going to change musically. Are these stadium tours great for his type of music? not really, blame that on gready promotors and record companies. Was he boring? he sings ballads folks, what the he## do you want him to do, juggle on stage? He actually had more personality than I thought he would. As to fan base, don't assume you know everything ... Can a Who, Zepplin and Smiths fan like this music, indeed they can...cause that's me. As to songwriting abilities, I think February Song is one of his best, and he co wrote it. Many may not enjoy the musical path he takes, but that's his business not ours. Only suggestion, lose the awful video footage during songs like Machine and So She Dances......And cut the orchestra sound, way too loud to have to sing over
All I can say is this --- the show was not worth the PRICE of admission. Maybe if the price were cut in half...

Something happened since his CLOSER tour. This AWAKE tour (including the music ) was inferior in every way.
Anybody who didn't like his concert and left or is never coming back....GOOD! AND GOOD RIDDANCE!! GO TAKE A MUSIC APPRECIATION COURSE WHILE YOU'RE GONE SO YOU'LL KNOW WHAT A CLASSY AND EXCELLENT SINGER/ENTERTAINER JOSH IS!!

I do agree with the description of the "Gr-obese-anites"....they are mostly big fat loser fans who are also terrible at money and life mgmt....go read them at JG.Com, the message board....the more I learn about this fan base and see pix of them, the more I understand why Josh said he would probably NEVER date or marry a Gro-godhowf'inguglycantheyget-banite! I have no sympathy for people who sit on their fat a$$e$ collecting disability, when it is obvious they are hypochondriacs and malingerers and most likely also have an allergy towards work of any kind. No wonder they love his music...it preaches all this "love and tolerance and it's ok if you're fat ugly and useless, I love you anyway" ...and the huge fat Groban fans need all that to keep from cutting their collective wrists!
Saw Josh in Vegas on 04/07. He was fantastic! Took my breath away. what a class act. The lighting was excellent and his violin and celo players were world class. Why are people upset if he sang in another language? He has done that on all of his cd's. At this concert, he sat on the stage and spoke about his trip to Africa, all the time signing autographs for the fans. He also came out of a back entrance and walked about 60 steps down to the stage, all the while shaking hands, signing autographs and never sounded better. My husband, who was not a big fan, was blown away and he paid more than twice as much for us to see another performer the night before. Josh signed autographs for 2 hours after the show. No one does that!
Saw the 7/21 Atlantic City show last night. I have to agree with most reviews before me!!! Too much African music, from opening act to his "causes", too much time between first act and him (did not come on till 9:20 pm!!!
Did not like "Awake" much, and after his "Closer" tour 3 years ago, I felt songs were mostly boring!!!
JOSH- WE LOVE YOU AND FOR YOUR FANS< this was/is not a good tour. Only improvement over the first tour is Josh seems way more energetic and interacts with his fans more!!! Even started a song in the rear of Convention Hall, and worked his way to the stage!! Exciting!
I paid 100 a ticket for 3 tickets and I and most everyone else deserved more (would have liked more older songs!!!)
CHANGE IT NOW JOSH!!!! YOU cannot afford another bad tour or album!!
I attended 7-21-07 concert at AC. I happen to love Josh Groban's music whenever and wherever I see him however I must agree that when the Awake album was released I didn't connect with it as I did with all the prior albums. I loved the show and his interaction with the fans was great but the music still isn't his best. I love the older music he has done and especially loved the love theme from Romeo & Juliet as it was my wedding song 33+ years ago however since it wasn't in english it was hard to recognize;yet he sang it beautifully. I agree that he should try to sing more familiar music but his voice is still strong, pure and spectacular! He continues to be my favorite composer/singer!
Josh Groban was excellent at the Nassau Collisem. I was not expecting
for it to have been as good as it was. The violinist, guitarist and the rest of the band and the orchistra were good also.
Excellent at Nassau Coliseum - Great night.
Josh was great at the colisum. His whole orchestra was excellent and he really played alot of songs.
I just saw Josh in Pittsburgh last night 8/4/07. Have to agree with above regarding the opening act. Had to stuff tissue in our ears it was so loud! I also agree - leave the politics out of a concert. I'm there to hear Josh sing. I love his voice, which sounded great and I don't care what language he sings the songs in. His audiance interaction has improved over his first and second concerts and his back up band is outstanding. He is still young and is well within his rights to experiment. I prefer the older stuff myself. Maybe his next CD will take another route. I think he can be forgiven. The man has talent. Lastly- the idiots who have nothing better than critical of what a person looks like need to get a life. What do you look like in the mirror? So what if people are fat, or bald or skinny or have pimples....People like you are ugly because you have no compassion for other people. You probably make fun of disabled people too. Sorry all of us can't be as "perfect" as you.
In my opinion, the Pittsburgh "Awake" Tour Concert was an exceptional performance for Josh and the other tour performers. My Mother received her ticket as I birthday gift from me...and she was in complete awe of his spectacular voice "in person". We missed seeing the pre-Josh entertainment due to traffic, but I agree that a performer shouldn't keep his "fans" waiting too long. Josh was very personable with the audience, and I enjoyed the versatility of the other musicians since they were superb. Although, I would have enjoyed listening more to his voice in any language! We had the honor of shaking his hand from the arena audience, so we were thrilled! The simple things in life make me happy! Thanks Josh! End of story.
This was my first time seeing Josh Groban in concert and I was pleasantly surprised. He's funny, personable and one of the greatest showman I ever saw and I go to many concerts, from tenors to hard rock. Pittsburgh loved him, it was evident by the standing ovation that brought him back out for two encores. People don't like change-that's the only reason I can figure out for the negative reviews. Keep being creative Josh, your theatrical education from Carnegie Mellon showed through last night!!! I'll gladly pay another $100.00 to see you again!!
I liked the African music at the Pittsburgh concert. Josh was WONDERFUL!!!! I love when he sings in Italian, or in any language! He is a VERY talented individual who will go far with the right direction. I didn't like having to wait so long, and I have to agree, the music was TOO loud. The CMU orchestra was not heard well. Loved the female who played the cello!!!! She was lovely. Can't stand the violinist. Get rid of her. She is a distraction with her angry facial expressions and attack-mode MO while playing her violin. PF, Pittsburgh
I just saw his concert in Vancouver, and it was pure magic!! I don't understand where all these negative comments are coming from. Josh's voice and presentation are just great, and the fact that he has a heart for the people of Africa, is really just very commendable. He is a wonderful gift to mankind. So, before you make any more rude comments, please give it some thought!
Idaho concert August 21 2007 was excellent. I saw Josh Groban's
lst concert in Boise Jan 2004-he has tremendous talent and humility.
For the woman from Texas who didn't like him singing in Italian-
if you were familiar with his music-you would kow he sings in 4
different languages-go eat Texas ribs-or know about the artist
before you spend your money for the concert.
Josh is one of those entertainers that make you feel like you are the only person in the concert hall. I saw him for the first time in Seattle on 8/18/07 and my heart is still floating! It appears to me that many of those people giving Josh negative reviews are not intelligent enough to even understand the many messages that Josh is trying to convey. Grow up! Get a Life, and appreciate what a true unique gift Josh is to this world! Thanks Josh for creating a more beautiful world!
INCREDIBLE!! My husband and I saw the Awake Tour in Denver last night, 8/29. Absolutely wonderful performance. He was at his funniest and goofiest. A fan presented him with a yellow foam oversized cowboy hat and he had a blast with it. Totally uninhibited and willing to make fun of himself and his industry. The music was a bonus. I agree with postings on here about him singing in languages other than English - listen to his albums. He's been singing in other languages from the start, so get used to it. True, I would also love to have a translation, but the beautiful music by far makes up for the fact that you can't understand the words. I was pleasantly surprised that he only had one beginning act - I had expected two!! However, the Pepsi Center acoustics did not do justice to the concert, and it seemed as if the mixing was off. Other than that, by far the best concert I've ever attended! Josh is beautiful in person!
My first Josh Groban concert & it won't be my last. Sometimes the music was too loud but all in all it was a great concert. Time for the violin player to go but the cello player was fantastic. It was an incredible performance. Josh is so warm & friendly. INCREDIBLE does not do justice for the performance he gave last night. It was fantastic to see what a broad range of ages he appeals to.
saw josh in denver (08.29.2007)- awesome stage, amazing musicians, and josh was funny , entertaining, and his voice was phenomenal. to all who didn't appreciate this tour, I can not understand the reasoning behind your negative comments. Concerts don't get any better- a truly moving experience. J.B.
Just saw Josh on his last concert in the US in Omaha NE on Aug 31st. I had been to his previous concert in Omaha on the Closer tour. I have never enjoyed any concert better than this! On his first tour I loved his voice, but felt he wasn't comfortable on stage yet. What a difference this time!!! The pre-concert preformer was not my cup of tea, but I did find her enthusiasm catching. When she sang a duet with Josh during the show, I could see why he wanted her on his tour --- it was fantastic! Josh was funny, connected TOTALLY with the audience, sang like he had never sung the songs before, and provided 2 1/2 hours of nonstop music that in my opinion was the best I've ever heard him sing! Maybe it was because I felt his heart was in it. After 3 encores, he actually lingered on the stage -- he looked like he didn't want to go. He ended his US portion of the Awake tour with the right people -- down to earth, appreciative, thrilled Nebraskans! Thank you Josh for the best concert I have ever been to!

I just went to the concert in Charlotte NC and he could not have been better. It is persons right to try different things and to expand their horizons. Shame on you who are berating him for his African INSPIRED music. At least he is trying to do some good in this world. What are you doing except complaining. If you didnt like the CD why did you go to the concert to begin with?????
Saw Josh in Omaha. We drove 7 hours to see him and would do it again in a heartbeat. He is talented, open-minded to new projects, and is very endearing to young and old alike. His rich voice and stage presence resonated not only with my 15 year old daughter, but with my wife and me also. I appreciate his integrity and generosity in supporting charities that give hope to remote reaches of the world. One gets the feeling that JG takes his work very seriously, but doesnt make the blunder of taking himself too seriously. Kudos! KB
I think Josh is sexy, talented and the most wonderful person on Earth.
I loved his concert and I got so excited at the concert that I threw up two times! And also I was offended by the comments made by the person who didn't like the middle-aged Grobanites. I am only fifteen years but even I have the maturity to not disrespect his other fans. After the concert I went to (which was in Omaha, Nebraska), my heart was floating and is still floating!
Saw Josh Groban in Denver, 8-29-07. I must say he is fantastic! Not only gorgeous, sexy but has the voice of an angel!! I would see his concert anytime I can in a heartbeat!! You go Josh! Show everyone how fantastic you are.
ALERT!!!! Most of these negative comments are actually part of a smear campaign started by some folks who had nothing better to do with their time than to try and destroy something.(Poor lost souls.) These are from just a few people posting multiple times. DO NOT BELIEVE THE HYPE! The concert was fine. Some liked it and some didn't. This happens at ALL concerts. Again, do not believe the hype. Now, move along. There is nothing to see here. Bless you all
Josh is gaY!!!
