Don't know about Ohmaha, but in Chicago/Rosemont on 3/2 they rocked "The Allstate."There are a few thisgs that I look for at a concert. Tightness,Working the crowd and Light show and let me tell you that on a scale of 1-10. They scored a 10 on all 3 parts. There wasn't a seat filled once they took the stage. The fans (ranging in age from 10-45)stood up and rocked, danced and sang with the band till the end. When you look out on a crowd of 18,000 strong and you feel their energy pound back at the band then you know the guys on stage are doing something right. It was money well spent.
Well, the beginning of the concert proved strong in
Fort Lauderdale on 3/18 with the song "Animals" to kick it off. I thought the "Saturday Night" cover song and passing out beer was lame considering this was wasted time the band didn't perform "Next Contestant" or sing "Rock Star!!!!!"
For a sold old show with 15000 fans, one oncore was unacceptable. I left the show feeling disappointed. I know they postponed the show before this one and also the one after. I don't think they did themselves justice, if you consider I paid good money to hear them sing their songs. The pyrotechnics were good, but I didn't come for that. I came to hear them sing their songs! Most of the crowd after the concert were pretty much having the same conversations. I heard the echoes.... "no rock star????" Oh well, I will not see them again. :-( once was enough.

Saw the Nickelback (Three Days Grace and Breaking Benjamins) concert in Sunrise, Florida on 3/18. My comments... first I was very impressed with Nickelback's sound. Pyrotechnics were intense as well. I have to admit though there were a lot of "breaks." Beer throwing, "gift giveaway," and the usual interlude so the band can take a breather. Song selection was good, but I was hoping for a couple more... especially for the oncore. I dont recall ever going to a concert with only one oncore song. In conclusion... the bands were great, the concert itself was great, but like any concert you can always pick a couple of flaws.
